Arriving in Shanghai, twenty years ago, to take my position as the Consul General of Israel to Shanghai, my first working visit outside Shanghai was to Wujin District of Changzhou city (Jiangsu Province)… Since then I have often visited Changzhou and Wujin and it is one of the main centers for activities for us at SHENG Enterprises.
It is therefore a kind of closure and especially satisfactory to receive the Award for Contribution to the Wujin international cooperation in the passing year of 2021.
This award represent more than anything the hard and fruitful work of our excellent team in China in general, and our Director of Operation, Lina Yang, Changzhou team leader, Arthur Wan, and Specialist Bella Cao in particular. Thanks are due also to our friends in WIZ and CICP for the great cooperation!
The award event was held on Feb 12, as part of the Wujin National hi-tech industrial zone (Wiz) Industrial development conference, at the presence of Qiao Junjie, Member of the Standing Committee of Changzhou and Secretary of Wujin District Party committee and Zhang Long, Deputy Secretary of Wujin national high-tech industrial zone.
Due to the COVID19 restrictions I could not attend the event and was well represented by our Changzhou team leader, Arthur Wan.
