The ZGC Forum is one of the leading economic forums in China, supported by Chinese Central government, led by the National Development of Reform Commission (NDRC), the Ministry of Information, Industry & Technology (MIIT), the Ministry of Science & Technology (MOST), the Beijing Municipal Government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and others.
SHENG’s Managing Partner and the President of Israel – China Chamber of Commerce, Ilan Maor, was honored with the invitation to join the event and speak at the Round Table Dialogue on Global Science & Technology Cooperation, held (on March 29th) as part as the ZGC Forum.
Speaking at the round table, Ilan Maor spoke about the Israeli and Chinese economies, their differences and complimentary nature, and presented SHENG’s more than two decades of activities in promoting Israel – China cooperation, which resulted with over 2 billion USD of deals conducted by SHENG’s clients.
Ilan Maor also presented the new SHENGTech hub recently launched at the China Israel Changzhou Innovation Park (CICP) and aims to serve as the leading HomeBase for Israeli tech companies in CICP, the leading Israel – China Park.
The cooperation between CICP and SHENG in general and with SHENGTech in particular brings together the combine strength, experience, network, support & grants, facilities, etc. – all in service of the Israeli companies who wish to initiate / strengthen their presence and activities in China.
Following the forum and the dialogue, initial contacts were made with relevant Chinese companies and organizations, with the hope to further exchange and develop cooperation.
