SHENG’s Managing Partner, Ilan Maor, serving as the President of the Israel – China, was honored to meet on Thursday (6/2) the new Ambassador of the People Republic of China to Israel, H.E. Xiao Junzheng; the Economic Counselor, Mr. Zhang Xingfu, and their colleagues.
During the meeting Ambassador expressed his commitment to promote the cooperation between the countries, people, and economies of Israel & China, and emphasized that the PRC government is maintaining a clear position which supports the enhancement of economic cooperation.
The meeting brought together the Embassy leadership and the management of the Chamber, Chairman Amos Yudan, Vice Chairman Yoav Sade and the general Manager of the umbrella organization Israel – Asia Chamber of Commerce, Liron Urman.
At the meeting, Ilan Maor shared from his experience in China and expressed our belief in the potential of the cooperation between Israel and China, discussed the main challenges and paths to moderating them and enhancing the cooperation.
This was the third meeting with the Ambassador Xiao and Counsellor Zhang within one week, starting with the CICP 10th anniversary event, followed by the Embassy New Year event, and the above meeting – which represent the intensive activities of the PRC Embassy in Israel and the good cooperation with the Embassy.
