SHENG’s managing Partner Ilan Maor was interviewed by China Newsweek, for an article about China’s pharma and Medical industry opportunities, challenges in the Middle East and the Israeli market.
Ilan shared some of SHENG’s experience in the sector. In the past couple of years SHENG have been increasingly active in promoting Israel – China cooperation in the med-tech and pharma sector, working with dozens leading Israeli and Chinese pharma and med-tech companies, with first three Chinese drugs already approved for distribution in Israel and are in initial sales.
In the interview, Ilan noted that in the past, Chinese pharmaceutical and medical device companies were focusing more on the local market, however – the Chinese companies SHENG have been cooperating with are now aiming at going global more than ever.
With high quality, large manufacturing base, increased innovation, and a growing variety of FDA / CE approved products – the Chinese industry is increasing its presence in the global market, including Israel, and SHENG is hoping to make its humble contribution to Chinese, Israeli and international companies who wish to explore the opportunity and provide more affordable yet quality services to the patients.
