The launching event of “SHENG lsrael – Jiangsu Innovation Hub” was held in Tel Aviv last Thursday (August 1st), marking a new milestone in promoting Israel – China technology and business cooperation.
The new HUB is based at the China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park (CICP) in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province，the leading national level Israel – China park with the largest concentration of Israeli and bilateral companies and projects in China.
The new HUB integrates the strength and capability of CICP with the field proven capabilities of the leading Israel – China advisory, tech-cooperation, and investment banking group SHENG Enterprise, a member of BDO Israel Group, with the aim to support Israeli companies who will join the HUB, in generating cooperation, business and revenues in China.
The HUB launching event integrated with the promotion seminar of the CICP, led by the visiting Mr. Zhou Liping, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of CICP, marking first visit of official Chinese delegation and first significant Israel – China event, since October 2023.
The event was opened with the greetings of Liu Song, Chargé d’affaires of the PRC in Israel, who warmly supported the cooperation and noted leading role played by CICP in promoting cooperation between the two countries. Mr. Liu emphasized China’s position as Israel’s largest trading partner in Asia and second largest in the world.
Among the guests who joined the event and expressed their support were Ms. Hila Stern, Director of the Northeast Asia Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Shlomy Kofman, VP & Head of Int’l Division, Israel Innovation Authority; Ms. Sabin Segal, Deputy D.G. for International Business Affairs, Israeli Export & Int’l Cooperation Institute; Mr. Danny Catarivas, President, Israeli Federation of Bi-national Chambers; Mr. Amos Yudan, Chairman of Israel – China Chamber; and Ms. Liron Urman, GM, Israel-Asia Chamber; and over 60 guests from the Israeli business sector.
Speaking at the event, SHENG‘s Managing Partner Ilan Maor presented the HUB and the opportunities and support it provides and invited Israeli companies to join the HUB support program.
The panel held at the last part of the event brought together four Israeli executives: Mr. Danny Shikh, CEO, K&S Advanced Systems; Mr. Lior Ben Dror, Founder & President, Pure Blue; Mr. Oren Bar-On, CEO, Foresight Automotive Asia, & Global COO; Mr. Tal Bakish, CEO, Vocal Zoom; shared their positive experience working with CICP and SHENG.
