Traveling to Jinan, the capital city of Shandong Province was quite an experience!
A long and very fruitful day in Jinan started with a meeting and working lunch of SHENG’s Managing Partner Ilan Maor and Manager Ma Ziyan with the Chairman Meng Xiangdong and leadership of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade of Shandong Province.
Among the participants in the meeting were Vice Chairman He Zhongjun, Director of Trade & Investment Service Center Leon Zhou and other leaders from the Shandong CCPIT, Project Manager Su Chongyou, Division Director Sun Qiang, as well as our old friends and associates, Director Li Huabing and Ms. Teresa Yang of Foreign Organization China Office Center (FOCOC).
After the meeting with the CCPIT, SHENG’s team had the opportunity to get first hand impression of the very impressive and fast developing Jinan Medical Center (JMC) with 35 square kilometers, integrating academy & research, hospitals, biotech and medical industry, in short WOW!.
The JMC visit started with a meeting with Director Zhang Ji and the management of JMC, followed by a tour of the JMC and ending with a visit to a billion USD Jinan med-tech group, presenting the of med-tech.
Great visit, lots of ideas for cooperation, and many action items to execute till soon returning to Jinan!
