Sheng’s Managing Partner, Ilan Maor, was invited to take part in a weekly program on i24News, summarizing the passing week, which devoted a major part (over 20 minutes) to a discussion about China and the middle east.
Speaking at the program, Ilan noted the importance which China attaches to the Middle East and the developing cooperation between China and the countries in the region, which presented well during President Xi recent visit to the region and the first China – Arab States Summit and the China-GCC Summit held during the visit.
Asked about the China – USA – Gulf triangle, Ilan noted that it is clear that the Gulf countries wish to maintain strong relationship with both the USA, being an important ally and defense factor for the Gulf, and with China, which is a strong and important business and international partner and do not wish to be forced to take side
Looking at the positive and warm attitude presented by both China and the Arab countries we can expect relations to strengthen in the coming years…
