Even in the COVID19 times – we keep on looking for paths to enhance the cooperation between our countries. SHENG’s team in Changzhou and Tel Aviv, together with our friends in CICP, have organized earlier this week a zoom meeting between the municipal governments of Wujin District and Changzhou City, of Jiangsu, China and Karmiel of Israel.
The city of Karmiel was represented by Mayor Moshe Kononsky, who was joined by Moshe Vegner, the Head of Karmiel Tech hub and Lilach Vaksman Rene, Head of Int’l Relation.
From Changzhou city Xu Jun and Wang Dong, Deputy District Heads of Wujin District, led the Changzhou team to the meeting, alongside with CICP team, and officials from Changzhou Foreign Affairs Office, Wujin District Foreign Affairs Office, Wujin District Science & Technology Bureau, Wujin district culture, broadcasting & Tourism Bureau, as well as Jiangsu University of technology.
The meeting started with mutual introduction of the participant and presentations of Changzhou Wujin and Karmiel, followed by mutual exchange of ideas and opportunities for cooperation, in various fields, including technology, commerce, culture…
An important milestone towards enhancing cooperation in the coming year of the tiger!
