SHENG’s Israel based team, Managing Director Ilan Maor and Associate Manager Anna Geller had the honor and the pleasure to join the special Chinese New Year event held by the Chinese Embassy in Tel Aviv on Wednesday (23/1).
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Xiao JunZheng expressed the Chinese government intention to further strengthen the relation and cooperation between Israel and China noting the fact that even during the worse time of the past year the government supported the continuation and enhancement of economic and technology cooperation, as well as the continuous work in Israel of thousands of Chinese workers who are vital to the continuation of construction works on infrastructure and residential projects.
With the planned return of the Israeli hostages and the improvement of the situation in Israel and the region, we will hopefully see the increase in the exchanges and movement of business and tourists between Israel and China.
Among the honorable guests at the event was a delegation from the city of Changzhou, a prime center of Israel – China economic cooperation, led by Deputy Mayor Yu GuiPing and Deputy Director of CICP Park Administrative Committee, Zhou LiPing – the first government delegation from China visiting Israel in the New Year!
An excellent event, and a warm welcome Ambassador Xiao as he starts his tenure in Israel – which we hope and believe will mark a great period of friendship and cooperation between Israel & China.
