SHENG’s Managing Partner and President of Israel – China Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Ilan Maor was invited to make a presentation at the 2025 Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality International Conference, held in Zhuhai, Guangdong on November 24-25, 2025.
Among the speakers at the conference were: Mr. Zhang Hu, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province; Mr. Hu Zucai, Counsellor of the State Council and former Vice Minister of the NDRC; Mr. Zhai Qing, Member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Deputy Director of the Population, Resources and Environment Committee; Ms. Inger Andersen, Under-Secretary-General of the UN & Executive Director of the UNEP and others.
Israel’s Professor Daniel Shechtman, Nobel Prize Laureate, have sent, with SHENG’s coordination, a greeting video in which he emphasized Israel’s development into a leading global technology hub, across many sectors – including energy and cleantech, and encouraged participant to explore global cooperation in these important segments, inviting them to visit Israel and in the meantime, hear the brief on the Israeli technologies in the sector from Ilan Maor – and expressed his hope they find interest in the technologies presented.
In his presentation, Ilan Maor described the Israeli innovation environment, the opportunities it presents as a global tech hub, and the unique openness of Israeli tech companies towards international cooperation,
Moving from theory to actual opportunities, Ilan presented a group of Israeli tech companies, with the emphasis on companies who are members of the new launched SHENG Israel – Jiangsu Innovation Hub in Changzhou, who are already actively looking for cooperation opportunities in China.
Among the companies Ilan Maor presented at the conference were the SHENGTech Israeli technology member companies: Ageera Energy, Agam Greenhouse Energy Systems, Airtouch Solar, and DotzNano.
